Don't settle for this! This ramp was built without enclosing the sides or back, thus exposing the underside of the deck and frame. This allows insects and animals to use the ramp as a home. Also notice the raw wood on the sides and frame. Ramps.com encloses all ramps with HDPE so wood is never exposed. Notice the raw wood handrails. We use only rectangular steel tubing that has been coated for weather proofing.

Like this after only 2 years! After only 2 years the wood on this ledge is severely damaged and the metal edging is totally rust covered. The lack of metal edging near the base has left the wood exposed to gashes from skateboards. The lack of a coating or covering for the wood has caused premature weathering. Rust coming off the uncoated angle-iron is causing unsightly stains on the wood.
